Copyright and Licensing:
Visitors can purchase unique, one-of-a-kind products, which are original paintings and sketches, through adibblepaintings.com. The image of each product, and all rights to it, are copyrighted by and belong to Alison C. Dibble even after an original painting has been purchased and has changed ownership. Any licensing of artwork must be through Alison C. Dibble. No uploading to other websites or reproducing the painting in any form is permitted, beyond sharing an image on social media, without written permission.
Privacy Policy:
Emails and contact information of those who use adibblepaintings.com will be held in full respect for the privacy of the individuals and are never shared. Emails may be included in the (blind copy) recipient list of the Alison Dibble Fine Art Newsletter. Recipients can unsubscribe at any point. Data will not be shared with any other commercial enterprise or nonprofit organization. Privacy of customers is of utmost importance to Alison Dibble Fine Art.
Purchase and Sales:
Pricing is by size, regardless of subject, but may vary by medium (e.g., oil painting, watercolor on paper, gouache, casein, dry drawing media). Shipping and handling are (1) as a flat rate (stated in the product description), or (2) included in the price (stated in product description), or (3) waived upon in-person pickup by appointment. Taxes to Maine customers consist of 5.5% Maine state sales tax.
Shipping, tax, duties and customs fees regarding international destinations are paid for by the customer.
Packing will be accomplished at the Alison Dibble Fine Art studio or through a service center that offers packing such as the United Parcel Service Store. Some clean recycled packing material may be used to cushion and help protect the art. Every precaution will be taken to package the paintings so that they arrive in perfect condition.
Satisfaction of the buyer is paramount to Alison Dibble Fine Art. Buyers may return a painting within 7 days of its arrival in their possession, for any reason. Three conditions are required to qualify for a refund of the original sales price.
(1) The buyer will pay the return shipping costs including insurance or loss-damage on the full amount of the original purchase price.
(2) The buyer must notify Alison Dibble through the web site contact page, or by email, telephone, or text that they are returning a painting before shipping it back.
(3) The painting must arrive at Alison Dibble Fine Art studio in a condition that matches that in which it was when originally sent to the customer, having sustained no damage while in the customer’s possession. If damaged during shipping from Alison Dibble Fine Art studio to the customer, then this is covered by the original insurance (United States Postal Service) or loss-damage (UPS Store). It must be packed in the original packing materials unless unforeseen circumstances prevent this, and insured to the full original purchase price. The entire package can be double-boxed for more assured protection.
