The uneven melting of the ancient ice layers that were deep inside a glacier are now exposed to the air for the first time in many millennia. As the remnant melts, it tilts and then tips over, and now a new aspect is exposed above the ocean’s surface.
The painting is unframed with white-painted gesso edges 1.4 inches deep, and is ready to hang. The price includes shipping within the continental U.S. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this painting goes to charity.
