I’ve planted red daylilies repeatedly and not had 100% success getting them to come back year after year. And their labels get lost, so when I do have a triumph, I don’t know which of my several named varieties this was. It doesn’t matter. I get such pleasure from that rich red, even though any one flower lasts just one day.
