The part of the iceberg beneath the water is usually larger than the part seen above. For this iceberg, extensive melting has led to this dripping remnant.
It is one of the hottest days of summer in the Arctic, and a remnant iceberg is melting away. But the sea is serene, and the sky is luminous. This is one of a series, see also Greenland Ice Sheet I, collapsing wall; Greenland Ice Sheet II, glacier valley; and Greenland Ice Sheet III, moon and blue ice.
