Daffodils at midday
$1,000.00
The daffodils remained colorful for weeks. They seemed to be begging me to come paint them.

Daffodils at midday, by Alison C. Dibble, is an original, one-of-a-kind fine art oil painting on a Raymar panel. The price ($1000 USD) includes shipping in the lower 48 states of the USA*.
It was a sunny day, the daffodils were gorgeous, and my garden was the ideal place to paint during the Covid19 lockdown. So, I set up the easel at one end of the fenced enclosure where some brilliant yellow-gold daffodils were clustered. These daffodils were volunteers, I know I did not plant them here. First I designed the composition, then I painted the garden shed with the garlic crop in front. Painting with yellow can be tricky, but how else does one express an appreciation for daffodils?
Screens differ in the display of colors. I photographed the painting in daylight in an effort to represent the colors as truly as possible.
